Now What?
First, Make Sure you Complete Your Intake Paperwork. Check your email from me with subject line: “New Form To Complete.”
Next, Make Sure you Activate your Practice Better Client Portal Account and download the Practice Better App. Check your email from me with subject line: “Join Chelsea Karwath on Practice Better” and click “Activate my Account.”Activating your Practice Better Account is a MUST. This is our client portal platform where you can message the Front Desk, we can message you, and where you will find your session notes and be able to manage upcoming appointments. (If you don’t see this email, or are having trouble activating your account, please reach out to us at abidefunctionalwellness@gmail.com or call or text 913-732-1525 and we will reach out to you to get it straightened out!)
If you have scheduled an appointment in-person, we are located at 6109A Nieman Rd. in downtown Shawnee, Kansas. We are in the main level of a 3-story mixed used residential and commercial space, so don’t be confused if it looks like you’re at an apartment building because you’re in the right place! (If you are having trouble finding us, please reach out to us through the client portal by messaging the Front Desk, or call or text 913-732-1525.)
Online/Virtual Appointments take place over our HIPAA-compliant Client Portal, so make sure you have activated your Practice Better account prior to your appointment! Once it’s time for your appointment, you will click the “join session” link in your client portal under the session, or the email you received about the session. If Dr. Chelsea is a few minutes late, it doesn’t mean you’re in the wrong place, she may just be finishing up with the client before you, so just hang tight! Make sure you have strong internet and have your video and sound on!
Cancellation Policy: New Client Appointments are non-refundable, but can be rescheduled within the parameters of our cancellation and rescheduling policy if something comes up! Per our Cancellation Policy, you can reschedule an appointment with 24 hours’ or more notice. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show, you will not be refunded.
